Since its founding in 2024, Agape Care of Texas Inc, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, has been dedicated to providing compassionate, faith-based care to physically disabled adults and the elderly while supporting their caregivers.
Agapé (ἀγάπη) is the highest form of love in Greek, signifying selfless, unconditional, and sacrificial love that God is and shows towards us. A fruit in the heart of a saved person. Love, not as a feeling, but as action, without expecting anything in return.

Our team of visionaries is dedicated to preserving the quality of life for the senior community of Parker County and surrounding area. Agape Care of Texas is partnering with other professionals to bring a one-of-a-kind 62+ senior community to Weatherford, Texas. This prototype senior community provides a unique continuum of care while holistically supporting our aging population with dignity.

Picture this:
My parents, who are on a fixed income, move into a 2-bedroom home, enjoying all of the amenities that are within walking/rolling distance, including going several times a week to the senior community center for lunch, games and other social activities. They attend weekly church services in the chapel. A few years go by, Mom's health declines so Dad becomes her primary caregiver. Dad continues to go to the senior community center after he drops Mom off at the adult day center, where trained professionals care for her and provide lunch and activities. Dad also regularly attends Agape's caregiver support group. Mom's health further declines so she moves into the assisted living home, while Dad still lives in their home. He is able to walk/roll to visit Mom daily and still enjoys visiting with his friends at the senior community center. Mom's condition becomes terminal and she moves into the hospice house where the rest of our family and friends gather around her in her last days. Mom passes away peacefully. Dad still lives an active lifestyle, playing pickleball, leading a bible study group and playing 42 at the senior community center, still in the same home they moved into years ago within a community of friends that love and support him.
